Dayalbagh Landscape Series
This expressive and contemplative body of work interconnects art and technology through digital painting. I have created original, mixed-media digital paintings which combine my own original photographs with painting techniques and styles by employing various artistic, digital brushes through a stylus and screen. These paintings are then printed on canvas or archival paper using the highest-quality printing technologies after which I add my hand-painted brush strokes (using actual paints and brushes) to create a unique, hybrid piece of art. My connection with nature informs my art. By doing community service (‘seva') in the wheat fields throughout the year, I have been able to experience first-hand the changing seasons of the natural landscape near my home. These artworks are intended to give the viewer a sense of peace, reflection and inner joy.
